Passionnée  par  la  musique de chambre, Laure Volpato  est invitée à se  produire en France  et  à  l’étranger. Dans un désir constant d’ouverture à toute forme d’expression artistique, du classique au jazz, elle collabore à diverses créations musicales, chorégraphiques, picturales, littéraires, théâtrales (Théâtre du Châtelet, Reine Blanche, Etoile du Nord, Pépinière Opéra, Théâtre des Roches, FGO BARBARA, Centquatre, Triton, 360 Paris Music Factory …) Elle travaille notamment avec Yochk’o Seffer, compositeur, improvisateur et instrumentiste français d’origine hongroise, lequel lui dédicace entre autres  « Méditation (2019), Consolatio (2021)

Diplômée d’Harmonie, Analyse et Culture musicale, Laure Volpato étudie le chant, la direction de chœur, effectue  un cursus de Musicologie à l’Université de la Sorbonne. Après avoir obtenu les 1^ers Prix de violoncelle et  musique de chambre avec félicitations (Concours Ville de Paris), Prix d’Excellence (Concours International Bellan), Prix d’Honneur (Concours International UFAM), elle se perfectionne, entre autres,  auprès de Anatoli Krastev à l’Académie Nationale de Musique de Sofia, de Marie-Paule Milone en France.

Titulaire du Certificat d’Aptitude, Laure Volpato est actuellement professeur à  Paris. Présidente de l’association  L.V. Arts Au Diapason, elle initie et développe en collaboration des projets artistiques et culturels (Petit Orchestre de la Goutte d’Or, chorales intergénérationnelles, concerts, spectacles, conférences, festivals). 

Laure Volpato est membre fondatrice de l’Ensemble Arts Au Diapason (Musique Contemporaine), du Trio Polimorfo (Cordes & cor d’harmonie), du Trio Strada et du Trio Eleganza  (Musiques du monde). Elle se produit avec la pianiste Renata Bittencourt (Duo Akàcia), la pianiste Saïda Zulfugarova (Duo Alov),  et parallèlement forme avec l’accordéoniste Basha Slavinska un remarquable duo : le Duo Stravagante. Elle est également cofondatrice du Festival International du Haut Périgord, des Rêveries de Saint-Victor à Montvianeix (Auvergne). Laure Volpato joue un violoncelle moderne de Frank Ravatin

Biography

 

 

Passionate about chamber music, Laure Volpato is invited to perform in France and abroad. In a constant desire for openness to all forms of artistic expression, from classical  to jazz, she collaborates on various musical, choreographic, pictorial, literary and theatrical creations (Reine Blanche, Etoile du Nord, Pépinière Opéra, Théâtre des Roches, FGO BARBARA, le Triton …). She works in particular with Yochk’o Seffer, French composer, improviser and instrumentalist of Hungarian origin.

A graduate of Harmonie, Analyse et Culture musicale, Laure Volpato studied singing and choir conducting, and studied musicology at the Sorbonne University. After winning the 1st Prize for cello and chamber music with honors (Concours Ville de Paris), the Award of Excellence at the Leopold Bellan International Competition, and the Honorary Prize at the UFAM International Competition, she perfected her practice with Anatoli Krastev at the Sofia National Academy of Music, Marie-Paule Milone in France.

Holder of the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude, Laure Volpato is currently a professor at the City of Paris. President of the L.V. Arts Au Diapason, she initiates and develops artistic and cultural projects (intergenerational orchestra, FGO BARBARA Goutte d’Or), is involved in collaboration with charities Culture & Hôpital (resident artists, concerts, shows, conferences, TERRITORIA Prize 2012) et Mémorisation & Créativité.

Laure Volpato is a founding member of the Ensemble Polimorfo (Strings and French Horn), of the Strada trio and Eleganza trio  (world music). She performs with the pianists Renata Bittencourt and Saïda Zulfugarova. She and accordionist Basha Slavinska form a  remarkable duet : the Stravagante Duo. She is also cofounder of the International Festival of High Perigord, the Dreams of Saint-Victor in Montvianeix (Auvergne).  Laure Volpato plays a  modern cello by  Frank Ravatin
